‘Goodbye Olympics’ to vie in Czech Republic

‘Goodbye Olympics’ is slated to vie at the Liberec International FICTS Festival in Czech Republic.

The film directed by Mojtaba Pourbakhsh will be screened at the 23rd edition of the event.

“Maria is a Kayaking champion waiting to leave for a race held in France which is an Olympics Qualifying event. The departure of her team will be cancelled over some emerging problems,” a brief synopsis for the flick reads.

‘Goodbye Olympics’ has so far attended a number of international events, including the Triste Para Sempre (Sad Forever) Film Festival in Portugal.

ifilm star Ramin Rastad, Farajollah Golsefidi, Houman Javadi, Mehri Alaqa, Tahereh Amouzadeh, Asghar Sandousi, Morteza Ghadiri and Maryam Jahani are some of the cast members of the doc.

Liberec International FICTS Festival is scheduled for October 10-19, 2020.
